Our amazing daily glass blowing, lathe and flame working demonstrations are free and run throughout the day.

Experience the heat of our 1000 degree furnace and watch our expert glass making team craft stunning pieces before your eyes. You can even book a place to create your own glass object if you fancy a having a go!

'There was also a free demonstration of glass-blowing. Having seen such demonstrations in Venice and elsewhere I could have given this a miss. Glad I didn’t – the demonstration at the Glass Centre was informative, fascinating and enjoyable, possibly better than those seen in Venice.'

PLEASE NOTE - Make your own Glass Bauble workshops will be happening throughout November and December in our Hot Glass Studio- Therefore there will be no glass blowing demonstrations on the following dates.

November:  

Wednesdays 15, 22, 29

Saturdays  11, 18, 25

Sundays 12, 19, 26

December:

Wednesdays 6, 13, 20

Saturdays 2, 9, 16, 23

Sundays 3, 10, 17

PLEASE NOTE: We try very hard not to alter the times or cancel our Glass Blowing Demonstrations, however very occasionally, due to circumstances beyone our control, we have to cancel them or alter the times. If you are planning a trip, we recommend you check our What's On Calendar on the day of your visit to avoid disappointment.
